Acupuncture That Supports Recovery and Pain Relief
Acupuncture is a minimally invasive treatment used to help reduce pain, improve healing, and support better overall function. At Catalyst Health, it is used within our chiropractic and physiotherapy services as part of a more complete, individualized care plan.
Depending on your concerns, treatment may be used to support recovery from injury, reduce muscular tension, improve comfort in movement, or address recurring pain patterns that are limiting daily life, exercise, or recovery.
What is acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a treatment that uses fine needles to stimulate specific areas of the body in order to support healing and pain relief. At Catalyst Health, acupuncture may be used to help promote blood flow to affected tissue, encourage the body’s natural pain-modulating response, and address both symptoms and underlying physical restrictions.
Depending on your needs, your practitioner may use different techniques such as integrated functional acupuncture, dry needling, or intramuscular stimulation to best support your goals.
